Group Classes
Choose the class that’s best for you and your canine companion! We offer several levels of Obedience, Rally and Agility (coming in the summer of 2009). Training sessions are presented in one hour segments once per week for six weeks unless otherwise noted. For detailed class descriptions and an upcoming schedule, see the Schedule Page
All of our programs are based on the Volhard Motivational Method. The Volhard’s step-by-step approach to training not only motivates your dog to learn, but also teaches you the skills you need to meet your training goals and gain a deeper understanding of your dog’s behavior.
Private Consultations
If your dog has specific behavior problems that you would like to correct, a one-on-one lesson with a professional dog trainer/behavior specialist may be the perfect solution.
Private consultations are usually done in the dog’s home environment, which helps us understand you, your dog, and the relationship between you.
We’ll teach you how unwanted behaviors such as jumping and aggression can be resolved using training techniques that are appropriate to your individual dog. We’ll determine how your dog learns best and teach you the methods that, with practice, will help you to succeed.
Dog Day Care (interview required):
Where it’s all about your dog! Come let them play in our 1500 square foot matted romper room, or then let them out into our large fenced yard to lounge on the sundeck or sit under the cabana!
Day care dogs enjoy supervised play both indoors and outdoors, with a lunch break and nap in the middle of the day (dogs, like young children, need their rest to remain healthy and happy!). A wide variety of safe toys is available for play, and we celebrate holidays and birthdays too!
Enrollment is limited so that we’re able to provide the personal care, attention and focus your dog needs - the mainstays of our program.
Prospective day care dogs and their owners are interviewed prior to registration; this helps us ensure a good fit with the Dog Logic day care “pack.”
Seminars and Workshops
We offer a variety of educational programs that cover a broad range of topics such as puppy parenting, canine behavior and canine drives. Programs are scheduled on a rotating basis.
